What Steinbeck is referring to can only be attested once you have been to Positano. I waited for 2 hours at one spot to wait for the right moment, the Golden Hour. I processed this image over 3 hours waiting for my cancelled flight at the Fiumicino airport in Roma. The results were stunning. Until you actually make it to Positano, I invite you to put this in your living room and enjoy the view.
