Constructed in 1992 this was part of an experiment to see the result of photographically merging male and female faces. Originally images were superimposed over each other but the results weren't pleasing enough, so I printed two 10" x 8" black and white pictures from negatives, sliced one horizontally and the other vertically, and then painstakingly weaved them together. This was bonded to a piece of art board and the edges secured with masking tape. Twenty four years later and still in one piece I have decided to sell this early piece of work.
