This is one of a series of Ink on brown paper drawings of a beautiful Temple in San Chong City, New Taipei City, Taiwan. Taiwan has many different sized and shaped Temples and they always amaze me with their beautiful shapes and colours. The skill involved in making these temples is incredible. I decided to start making Ink drawings as it is an enjoyable process to slowly build up the shapes and detail of such a complex subject. It took a lot of intense observation to pick out the different details, but I like the way the colourful Temples look in Black Ink. This drawing is close up of a Pheonix and a section of the Temple roof that caught my eye because of the beautiful angle and flow of the bend in the roof. As I was drawing the whole Temple view I noticed the beautiful flowing bend of the complex roof tiles and decided to draw it with the Pheonix. It is quite a dark drawing as it was drawn over a few very sunny days and the shaows were almost black compared to the bright sunshine.

Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
