Original artwork description:

A collage created through layering many photocopies of various paintings, drawings and prints by Adam Grose, forming the appearance of a billboard that had been left to the weather, worn and torn.

The image explores the concept of the Phantasmagorical images that are displayed on billboards, though in this case rather than displaying the ideals of desire, the images display a reality usually hidden from the commercial, whether a product of the commercial or the result of the commercial, through wants and desires created in people by the advertising magicians, which can not fulfil the imaginary desires created within the consumer.

A series of limited prints are also available to purchase.

Materials used:

Layered paper on plywood.
