Original artwork description:

I stumbled on this dancer on Instagram and knew I had to paint her. She had such poise and beauty when she danced and it bewitched me instantly. Lucky for me Cortney Keys couldn't have been more obliging and a little while later I began work on this painting. Some works are a struggle to paint, I make mistakes and it seems forced, this felt very natural and was pure joy to create. She has such calm and grounded balance, her hands perfectly relaxed while her legs are strong and solid. I could paint this a hundred times and not get bored.
The painting itself it framed in a painted wood frame, custom made for this artwork. Its broken gold/black with a cold rim. The artwork was created using artist quality oils on MDF board and comes without glass- which allows the paint to breath and remain healthy.
