Original Abstract mixed media collage/painting inspired by, and including, text from old books. To create this series of collages I painted new ink and wash Artworks, using a variety of marks, and they form the basis of each artwork. I also recycled old artworks and added found materials and objects including pieces clipped from a French Dictionary, old recipe books and annuals to name a few. The artwork was created in April 2017. Using carefully chosen combinations of materials, colour, balanced composition and lines created with a sewing machine for structure, I have created small artworks that are entertaining, even humorous, as well as decorative.
Sent to you ready mounted and in a cellophane sleeve with a backing board, perfect as a gift and ready to install into any custom 8" x 8" frame.
This Artwork is 20cm X 20cm or approx 8" X 8" and appears 14.5cm X 14.5cm in the mount. It will be sent to you matted (mounted) in a 8" X 8" (approx 20 x 20cm) off white mount as shown.
