The Scottish islands are generally calm tranquil places and Port Charlotte n the Isle of Islay is no exception. Here we at looking at a couple of wee white washed houses and the Loch Indaal Lighthouse with the hills of Jura just visible in the background. The beautiful blue and purple hues of the sky are reflected in the sea. The composition is painted on the edges of the deep profile canvas allowing the work to be hung without framing.
