Original artwork description:

This unique, abstract, and delicate paper art was skillfully hand-cut from thin dark red paper. Paper cutting is my favorite way to express my creativity, and I am driven by a passion for finding interesting forms and harmony in my work. I believe art is subjective and open to many interpretations.

The piece is an abstract, irregular rectangle filled with scribble-like, doodle-shaped marks and plenty of negative space. The interplay between the shapes and the empty areas creates a balance and tension, encouraging viewers to find their own meanings in the artwork. Each cut and curve demonstrates the care and patience that went into its creation, highlighting the fragility and strength of paper as a medium, and inviting an exploration of the nuances of form, space, and perception.

Materials used:

Tinted paper, 120g
