For years I wanted to do a white on white classical column. I made two or three attempts and gave up. I think it was the white on white that threw me. But here you see my first success. It happens to be an Ionic column, but I like Corinthian just as well. Perhaps the next one?

This picture is made from fine drawing paper and archival glue. I call it collage, but it could also be called relief sculpture. It comes in an museum board mat, ready for an 16" x 18" frame. I envision it in a simple frame - natural wood or painted white.
