Painted Dunes - by photographer Nick Psomiadis - Death Valley as the name suggests is as dry, sparse and isolated as its sounds, yet it is so beautiful. The one place that truly will pull me back to visit this country again. Here I concentrated on the sediments that have formed that make up the colours you see, a tight composition allows for an abstract interpretation of the natural environment. These colours change throughout the day yet they are more pronounced during the evening when the sun sets.

Painted Dunes is printed in a maximum edition size of 100, the print offered on Artfinder is edition 12/100
