This is the third in a series of original paintings of a paint roller creating a colourful rainbow streak of paint on paper.

Like some of Roy Lichtenstein's later paintings I included the paint roller within the actual painting in my classic pop / graphic art style. The colours are based on the classic cartoon rainbow image.

The end result is an incredibly bright and vivid image that would brighten up any room in the house.

It is painted in acrylics on thick high quality A4 paper. PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it framed for display purposes.

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, and Patrick Caulfield, but also by modern graphic designers.
