This painting using a bold color pallet of saturated colors to capture the vivid colors of fall. I have spent years in the Sierra mountains painting sometimes a similar subject and depending on the season achieving a very different piece. I find that the Sierra Buttes consistently give me inspiration and energy for some of my finest landscapes. This piece is to share the energy and vivid colors of fall for the viewer to enjoy.
