Original artwork description:

This is another drawing done from our hotel room window on the 33rd floor in Osaka, Japan on a chilly spring evening. Whilst drawing the previous nightscape I noticed this neon hotel sign and liked the way it stood out in the darkness. I find neon lights very interesting because of the way they puncture the darkness and shed light onto nearby surfaces. I also liked how the single room light illuminated the corner of this building. It was a little misty as I was drawing this and it was fun to try to recreate the misty neon colours and to try to write letters and characters with oil pastels as they are pretty rounded and not great for it!
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver to every country at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
