Original artwork description:

Experience a timeless piece of maritime history with my latest work, a poignant tribute to a bygone era captured in archival photography. This haunting work invites you to witness a touching scene where a colossal cargo ship finds a faithful companion in a modest tug, a small but indispensable assistant in the bustle of the port world.
Among the many archival photographs from different eras, one image stood out and tugged at my heartstrings. It has the grandeur of the huge cargo ship CITY OF SWANSEA - a proud member of the Ellerman Lines fleet and next to it a modest but stalwart tug, a shining representative of Liverpool Docks and of Liverpool Screw Towing - Fighting Cock.
Unfortunately, the author of this wonderful photograph from the collection of D.B. Hillman remains unknown. However, the image itself has survived, testament to the enduring appeal of maritime heritage.
Today I invite you to join me in revisiting this fascinating snapshot of the past. Through an artistic reimagining, I have breathed new life into this treasured story, a narrative that has been lovingly preserved by posterity as a testament to Britain's rich maritime heritage.
Looking at this work of art, you will feel a timeless connection between these two vessels, a reminder of the profound role they played in shaping maritime history. It's a tribute to the unsung heroes of the sea, the tugboats who steered the great ships through cramped ports.
This work of art is more than just a visual experience; it's a journey through history, an ode to the maritime spirit and a celebration of the strong bond between ships and their faithful tug comrades. This is a piece of Britain's maritime soul, lovingly reimagined for your enjoyment and appreciation.
