Original artwork description:

This original artwork has been created using black ink with both white and black charcoal details and line-work. Gouache was also used for the background.

This artwork features a black woman who has been through many challenges in her life and has emerged much stronger than before. With the lines on her face, you can see her story, but also the hope that she exudes.

This artwork was created during the George Floyd protests in 2020 as my own personal response to what was happening in the world at the time.

It has been painted on tinted paper which measures approx. 8.3" x 11.7" and is acid free.

It has been signed and dated on the front and will be shipped in a clear plastic sleeve and a board-backed envelope marked with 'Please Do Not Bend'
