Original artwork description:
I strolled along the picturesque harbor of Portofino, a small stylish fishing village situated along the Italian Riviera, made popular by the rich and famous. I stopped for a gelato and to sketch the buildings and captivating colors in the water. It looked as if someone spilled paint on the surface, patterns of dazzling hues ebbed and flowed with the current. Maybe it was the chocolate gelato in my hand, maybe it was being in Italy in the late summer, the whole thing felt like a dream.
Original Oil painting applied with brushes on archival canvas. Painting is wrapped and painted around the sides, and stretched on heavy-duty stretcher bars. Painting measures 24" x 28" x 1.5." An archival varnish has been applied to accentuate the vibrancy of colors and help protect the original painting.
