A few years back I went through a phase with this type of orchid, Oncidium equitants.
I grow & breed orchids. I love them, to me they are living sculpture. Naturally I end up doing paintings on this subject. So there’s a few paintings based on this orchid subject…. some have sold & some really nice ones are still for sale.
My paper is a traditional handmade mulberry paper made in Thailand. The paper is a thick parchment type paper, strong yet pliable. I have the paper made to this size to get the deckled edges which adds to the textural effect.
The close up picture is of higher resolution to be able to get a better feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there is me holding up the painting for perspective.
Please note that you can purchase in one order up to 6 paintings of same size or smaller to be included in the same 1 shipping fee. Packaging for my small paintings like this one is sealed in plastic sleeve, sealed in a padded hard plastic file case, and in an envelope.
