Artwork description:

This image is created from original photographs taken at Brightlingsea on the Essex Coast. It has been created by layering and juxtaposing up to 30 different photographs to create an entirely new scene, which captures a sense of this beautiful coastline, made up of walkways curling around the coast and beach huts.

There is something immensely friendly and accessible about the way the land meets the sea in Brightlingsea, and I wanted to capture the way the walkway curled around the coast. This light reflects softly on the ice cream colours of the beach huts and it has lovely worn feel about it.
