There’s beauty in these older shophouse buildings design. In Singapore these building frontages have been amazingly well restored. How many years I have passed by these shophouses and marvelled at their bulky presence on this otherwise busy road. Finally I’ve captured them in this mid sized painting. And this cotton paper brings out the colours very nicely.
The close up pictures give a better sense of the texture, brush stroke, and details of this painting. Then there’s the work in progress and me with the painting.
