Experts attribute the decline in the polar bear population to retreating sea ice. Melting glaciers make it difficult for polar bears to find food for themselves, which makes them lose weight and weaken. Also, the mortality of cubs due to lack of food increases.
Humanity must work to preserve all animal species existing on the planet today.
