I was visiting Southwell Minster to see the Ian Scott Massie, Places of Pilgrimage exhibition. It was a lovely day and I decided to take a few shots of the exterior. The people walking up the path turned out to be clients who had visited me at my open studio exhibition. They were more than happy to think they might be included in one of my paintings.
This painting is framed in a plain black frame.

It is situated six miles from Newark-on-Trent and thirteen miles from Mansfield. It is the seat of the Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham and the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.
Materials used:
Acrylic on a Loxley gold traditional canvas. Protected with polymer satin varnish. It is supplied ready to hang, fitted with ‘D’ rings and picture cord.
