I have this image lodged in my mind of from many years ago in Tuscany, of the burning sun set behind the twisted old olive trees . I have painted this subject a couple of times before. It was a challenging painting I have been working on it for some considerable time, it radiates heat and light which was the effect I wanted to achieve.
The work was created with a palette knife using layers of colours and the trees have structure so it appears three dimensional ,I have used some colour glazes on it to enhance the light. It is on canvas 76 x51 cm 2cm deep.
The painting is signed on the front sold unframed and ready to hang, all my works come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
My paintings are carefully wrapped and packed, shipped and tracked within four days of receiving orders.
