Artist's description:

At the end of autumn, the last apples on the apple tree are left for the deer who will eat them during the harsh months of winter. Winter in my area of the world is very intense, we have very cold days and the snowfall is heavy. The deer forage on what they can during those months. I loved the colours of the last apples, and the "Memento Morti" feeling of it all. "Gather ye rosebuds while ye may..." Nothing last forever, especially those things that hold onto a fragile beauty.

Materials used:

oil paint, paintbrushes
