Artwork description:

Truly one of the great wonders of the natural world. I had no idea that the reef would look so spectacular from the light aircraft flight my wife booked for me because the sea was too choppy to enjoy a boat trip to the reef.

The contrast with the deep blue ocean is remarkable. The patterns and hues are constantly changing even across the fraction of the reef's huge expanse we flew over. If you are ever in Australia and have the means, take a flight over the Great Barrier Reef.

As with all my images of this size, this is dry mounted on a backing board to avoid wrinkling in future. A double mount inside a black or white contemporary box frame sets this image off beautifully.

THIS IN-STOCK IMAGE IS NUMBER 5 OF A LIMITED EDITION OF 60 - READY FOR IMMEDIATE DESPATCH - FRAMED IN WHITE.

Alternative sizes, print methods and substrates are available. Please contact me through Artfinder to discuss your preferences or possible options if you have a particular budget in mind.

Giclèe prints are reproduced to order by my specialist art publisher who guarantees the inks will not fade for at least 70 years, then professionally mounted and framed by the framers I have used for twenty years .

Consequently, preparation of your special order artwork can take up to 14 days before despatch.

Materials used:

Giclée print on archival rag photographic paper with non-acidic mount in a contemporary wooden frame
