Original artwork description:
This work is glitter on paper, with BlK 3.0 (the worlds blackest black paint) in a shallow shadowbox frame with stenciled glass, with the letters NaN frosted on the inside. This frosting creates a very focused view on the glitter the comes through, and frames the context of the image under.
NaN - meaning "Not a Number" is my cheeky way of saying this is organic. A banana that blackens on the outside means the sugars have all come to the surface and it would be at its optimal sweetness...just like this work. Objects out of normal context are so fun to play with, and what is more fun than a nice Banana...with glitter no less!!!!
