The painting inspired by my Florida tropical floral garden.
There are so many incredible flowers - strikingly beautiful orchids, bird of paradise flowers, exotic trees, bromeliads and palm trees in my tropical garden.

About the process:
This piece was started with no preconceived notion of how the painting would be completed. This is by design, as there is something magical about the painting being spontaneous, with only a certain amount of control over what the final result will be.

For me, I see an abstract painting of flowers, plants, a little river, butterflies, birds, and other beautiful aspects of nature. But the real beauty of art, is that it is what each of us sees and how we interpret the piece, that makes it unique in our home.
