mX1 is a mixed media painting, combining acrylics, markers and cord. Due the mixture of media, the painting gains depth, with the lines (the cord) "popping out" of the painting. Abstract in nature, the painting takes reference in patterns found in landscapes: when looking at the painting for some time, forms start to take shape that build up a flowing landscape and sky.
