Original artwork description:

A Scottish mountain moorland landscape inspired by the many days I've spent at the muirburn or heather burning on the grouse moors of the Angus glens in spring or early summer. Heather burning creates a patchwork of various stages of heather growth providing food and nesting cover for grouse and other moorland birds and wildlife as well as variegated patchwork of colours on the hillsides

Painted in a contemporary impressionist gestural style with a palette knife in blues greens and magenta colours.

Painted using quality artists oils on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a gloss varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.

All deliveries will require a signature on delivery.
