Artwork description:

Early morning on a winter’s day in Ranthambhore National Park, India. Although the air was bracing it was far from a winter’s day in Europe or North America. There was no one about and I was enjoying the peace, although I though the landscape lacked a hint of tension. Then, a prowling young tigress with three juvenile cubs in tow appeared, engrossed in her world. She stopped to scan only once, and that’s when one of the boys caught up with her. The composition I had imagined leapt into reality as she stared at me – no, through me – while I put finishing touches to the camera settings. I was pleased with the resulting photograph, especially the contrast in their expressions – a no-nonsense, protective mother and an unaware, carefree teenager.

This Giclee print is a colour print made on hannemuhle photo rag 308 gsm paper which has a very smooth surface. (Giclee describes a fine art printing process that combines pigment based inks with high quality archival quality paper). My Giclee prints have an extremely wide tonal range and colour gamut.

Options: The print can also be made on C-Type Paper (matt or gloss), or C-Type Metallic/Velvet, or Giclee Canvas. It can also be printed at different sizes.
