Artist's description:

My mom used to always insist on dressing me just like her. As a kid it irked me to no end. Mom's taste in clothes was, uh let's say uber conservative and about 30 years behind the times. Anything wool was good. We lived in Texas. Not a lot of call for wool there most of the year.
This piece is acrylics, gouache, ink, and watercolors painted directly on a vintage photo. I like to call them "improved photos."
