Artist's description:

Monochrome Light
Coat the view,
Turners Paddock,
Back of Stourhead.

Words and feelings of the view down the bottom of “Turners Paddock” at Stourhead lake and gardens in Wiltshire.
My inspiration the other day and before Christmas when I went for a walk around the back of Stourhead the south west side it’s so unique and charming that’s why Sir William Turner had to paint it ,in his way of course!
I decided to get exspressive and create with a wet in wet technique and a dragging technique a monochrome lake with reflecting Winter trees and reeds.I had an art demonstration today where I had to show my skills to the Blackmore vale art group in Marnhall the largest village in the south of England I think and I used this piece for it.

Materials used:

Bockingford rough textured watercolour paper acid free, fine art watercolours Daniel Smith,Chinese bamboo brushes, water,

Monochrome light (2018)
