Watercolor sketch “Monastery. Pereslavl-Zalessky ”was painted from life during my plein air in the picturesque town of Pereslavl-Zalessky in the summer of 2019.

From the town of Sergiev Posad near Moscow, where I lived then I decided to go by bike to the picturesque town of Pereslavl-Zalessky. I went not by the highway, but by the secondary roads which the navigator led me. Somewhere in the middle of the way, I got stuck in swamps, impassable for my loaded bicycle, and the only way out was to go back.

The next day, I loaded my bike onto a bus and drove with it to the city of Pereslavl-Zalessky, where I drew well from nature and found a lot of inspiration.

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
