Number 3 of a sequence of 'portraits' of the secret windows of Old Muscat, Oman.
Water colour sketched on the spot for colour reference and atmosphere, photographed for detail, and worked to completion in the studio as drawings in dry pastel.
Intended for inclusion in a proposed second exhibition at Bait Muzna Gallery, Oman in 2006, and since stored and semi-forgotten in my studio. I am as surprised as delighted to find the works again.
