Artist's description:

Country life is always a huge inspiration for me, and the business of hens, is always amusing, they are so curious (hmmm gossipy) and so intent on finding out what you are doing, just like the little ladies they are!

This is a reduction linocut with 8 colors, reduction means that as I print the colors and sculpt the plate, I cut away the lino as I go along, leaving a lino plate I can't print more from, so there are only 15 prints! Reduction lino is quite a difficult process as you have to register, that is, line up the plate and paper every single time you print, and with 8 colors, this amounts to a lot of patience!
All my linocuts are handprinted by me, the artist, and I sign, title and number each print.

If you would like to see some Youtube films with me printmaking, and you can see me make a reduction print, look at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qowdjgH3OZ4

SIZE: The linocut itself measures 23" x 12.5", (58cm x 32cm )
and the beautiful piece of warm white paper measures 27" x 17",(68cm x 43cm)

Linocuts are wonderful graphic pieces of printmaking, that can make for a real focal point in your room, you are so welcome to ask me about framing advice etc.

SHIPPING: I'll mail "Minding your Business" to you protected by tissuepaper and cellophane, it comes with a flier (see thumbnail) explaining what a linocut is, and who I am as an artist.

If you have any questions just get in touch..... that's what I am here for!

Thanks for looking and welcome back.
