The Early Sand-grass is a very small and very rare species of grass that is native in western and southwestern Europe.
This illustration of Mibora minima was inspired by the diverse and beautiful meadows that we have here in Germany... These are filled with myriades of wild flowers and filigree grasses.
The smoky and dusty effect of the vine charcoal that I used to create this beautiful plant drawing mediates a feeling of lightness and a touch of nostalgia. A small piece of nature...
