Merry Cherry Dance is an oil on board painting of some Cherry Blossoms against the vivid blue sky of a fine spring day..
The combination between the pink and the blue is captivating and when a slight breeze makes the blossoms sway... I always think it looks as if they are dancing with joy in the sunshine...

I used lots of thick paint applied with palette knive to give an almost 3d effect
