"Memento" is a painting realized in these uncertain times: the pandemic is still taking the world by storm and artists are trying to interpretate with their own sensibilities what it's happening to us. In Italy, one of the nations which is suffering the coronavirus outbreak the most, a little gesture of hope went viral in social medias: adults and kids are posting a hand drawn rainbow with the hashtag #andratuttobene (everything will be alright). The thin rainbow that pierces the protagonist is an homage to this initiative, while the little firecrest which flies around the girl's head is the symbol of this strange, introvert Spring we are spending in our homes.
