Original artwork description:

Masters of the Water is a small wall sculpture that can also be used as a brooch.
There is an amazing story associated with its creation.
I am very well versed in botany and know all wild plants by sight. But one day I saw an incredibly beautiful plant in the river near the shore and didn’t recognize it at all, it looked like a floating star. I climbed into the water to take a closer look, and turning over the lace rosette of leaves, I saw special fruits that looked like surreal sculptures. And I immediately realized that it was a water chestnut.
I wanted to make this plant part of my work, I bought water chestnuts from the botanical garden and created this sculpture.

Materials used:

wool, water chesnut, antique glass eyes
