This little oil painting depicts a Masai herder with his cattle in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya, not far outside Nairobi where a Masai village exists. The climate is hot and arid and the cattle are fairly docile, the herder needs his stick in order to move the cattle along to new pastures. It's a gentle lifestyle in beautiful countryside. The picture is framed in a box tray frame for hanging on the wall or sitting on a shelf.
