Original multi-layered monoprint inspired by Magritte’s Man in a bowler hat.
I painted with acrylics on a gel printing plate using my own handmade stencils to create the shapes.
I visited The Magritte Museum in Brussels (Belgium) at the beginning of 2023.
The monoprint has a layer of gloss medium on top.
Materials used:
Liquitex Basic Acrylics and Golden Fluid Acrylic Iridescent Bronze on Canson mix media 120 lb. cartridge.
