Artwork description:

Mallaig Stag line

A series of prints inspired by a recent visit to the highlands of Scotland, listening to "My Heart's in the Highlands" an 1789 song and poem by Robert Burns/Arvo Pärt whislt watching the majestic deers and stags we saw on our scenic train journey to the port of Mallaig. This print includes the names of some of the many stations we passed along the way.
The image visually picks up on the lines, colours and typography used by Scotrail train route diagrams

All my artwork is drawn directly into the computer (no scans or photographs) using vector lines and curves. The finished artwork is printed out as a high quality limited edition Giclée print.

This is an original digital artwork. The above image is taken directly from the image file, rather than being photographed or reproduction of the final print.

Printed colours can vary slightly from those produced by a computer screen.

Your print will wrapped in layers of acid free tissue then rolled into a strong cardboard tube for posting along with a letter from the artist.

By default the print is cut with a 1.5 cm white border. If you wish your print to be cut to the edge of the image let me know.

Materials used:

produced in vector software on a laptop, output on high quality 250gsm matt paper
