The Australian Magpie is one of my favourite birds, I love listening to their warbling songs especially early in the morning. I think it's a great way to start your day. This painting is acrylic paint finished with oil paint on top. Maggies have a lot of character each of them individuals, I try to find their character and bring it into the painting.
This painting is on a stretched canvas with a hanging wire attached to the back the edges are painted it's ready to hang unframed.
