It is a photo by the extraordinary George Hoyningen Huene, one of Vogue's leading fashion photographers of the 1920s and 1930s, a striking, strongly composed image in black and white with clear, crisp shadows and high-contrast chiaroscuro. I loved it and reinterpreted it in my own way!!!! And I will call her "Madeleine"❤️ technique: The painting reveals the texture of the decoration throughout the canvas. It was painted in oil on a golden acrylic base decorated in a vintage/wallpaper style.
