'Love Snitch" is a manipulated art photo of a snail shell found on the shores of Landsjön Lake, Sweden, in 2021.


I call this photo "Love Snitch" because, due to "its green wings," it looks to me like a Snitch, a small flying ball from the Quidditch game ("Harry Potter," Joanne Rowling). And its shape says something about love.

If you catch the snitch, it means that you and your team win!

I couldn't decide whether it was a snitch who is in love... or a snitch of love. But I think if you catch it, it means to be in love, happily in love, and to be loved mutually. I think that is a real win in life!

I wish you to be in love and to be loved!

📸 ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Etuvgi is a Sweden-based self-educated artist with aphantasia, which uses photography and digital art to visualize her feelings, concepts, and dreams.

Etuvgi's works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions internationally. In 2022, she became a finalist at the Arte Laguna Prize 16. In 2023, the artist was granted a stipend from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee.
