Ynys Llanddwyn (Llandwyn Island) is rich with legend, Llandwyn means "The church of St. Dwynwen" who was the welsh Patron Saint of Lovers.
The island is also of geological interest with pillow lava, jasper formations and aeolian sand deposits.
