Excuse the prozaic title, in my painting I try to be free and spontaneous, in my naming of works I am quite exact! This is one of a series of miniatures that were great fun to paint. When I lived in Mid Devon this was a view I regularly passed, it's just up from Bickleigh bridge, presumed to be the inspiration for Simon and Garfunkel's "Bridge over troubled water". Drive up from Bickleigh to the village of Cadeleigh and you'll see this lovely view to your left...
