Unusually for me I did a series of spacecraft-themed paintings last year. I have been involved in painting skies and clouds for a while and one day I got the idea for a cloud painting with a spacecraft but painted as though it's real and not a Science Fiction image. I wanted the spacecraft to look worn and rusted as though it had been in space for millennia and was indeed a long way from home. So there we all are down below in our busy little lives and above us in the clouds... who knows?!
