Inspired by the wet overhanging branches reflected on the edges of the lovely Loch Faskally near Pitlochry, this is a multi-block linocut print using two blocks of lino and variable inking to produce the final image.
Version 1 is a limited variable edition of 30 printed on UNICO Fabriano cream paper using Lawrence oil-based inks. The image size is 42cm x 60cm and the paper size is approx 50cm x 70cm which gives a generous margin to allow for framing.
My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.
As these prints are quite large, they will be sent packaged in a reinforced tube. If you have any questions, please just get in touch and thanks for taking a look!
UNICO Fabriano cream paper, 250gsm. Lawrence linseed oil relief ink.
