Original artwork description:

My art is about celebrating the female universe in all it's deepness and swing.

That's about the only strait line I follow in my art-making.
This little one, for example,
came to be on a blotted background that was meant for a single eye or for a beautiful mouth, for I will have to make quite a few of those for an artshow that will happen soon.

But as the popstar Pink sings in one of my favorite songs: "..I can't take directions...(and my socks are never clean)" (latter part is not applied, hehe).
I cannot even take directions from myself.
The goal for this period was to express myself through beautiful single eyes, mouths, OR very simple close-ups of faces and hands.
Yet I fell in love with a reference photo of this girl with strait hair.

At such a point, painting anything but this images is futile.
It's like a little puppy dog that won't stop squeaking until it's painted!
So I took the tiny prepped canvas and allowed myself to get carried away somewhere between the orange blot that was there before and the sketch that I had made of this private looking girl.

I've used acrylic inks, permanent markers and acrylic paint, PLUS some gold leaf sprinkles, as you can see really well in the extra photos and in the video.

On little artworks like these I sign with that Japanese looking symbol that consists of my first letters.
On the back you will also find my full signature, title and the year of making.

You will get a certificate of authenticity with it, as well as a ton of good karma-points for supporting this female artists endeavours to make the world a bit more beautiful!

Materials used:

acrylic paint, lightfast markers, inks, gold leaf
