Lindisfarne has been a place of pilgrimage since 635 when Holy Island was given to St. Aiden, by King Oswald to establish the monastery. Lindisfarne Priory was once the home of St Cuthbert and the birthplace of the Lindisfarne Gospels. The ruins of the Priory provide a striking image, silhouetted against a dramatic backdrop. Lindisfarne Castle can be seen in the distance through one of the arches, highlighted by a section of Gold leaf. This is a limited edition of 150, signed & numbered with a certificate of authenticity.

The print is hand finished with imitation Gold leaf, this makes every print unique.

Materials used:

312g smooth fine art archival paper, imitation Gold leaf
